Ryan Gleason is a bass player based out of Los Angeles, CA. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. After graduating from Berklee Ryan spent a decade working as a freelance electric and upright bassist on the New York scene. He now resides in Los Angeles, CA where he has been transitioning into the West Coast scene. Over the years he has performed, toured, and recorded with a diverse roster of artists such as Macy Gray, Jake Clemons (of Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band), Markéta Irglová (of The Swell Season and co-composer of Once), Tom Howie (of Bob Moses), American Opera, El Mar, Adam Lasher (of American Idol), B.E. Taylor, Edisun, Blaire Alise & The Bombshells, On Impulse, Tom Glynn, Stone Mountain Station, Rory Sullivan & The Second Season and many others. He is also an educator and a composer for film. Ryan proudly endorses La Bella Strings and JH Audio In-Ear Monitors.
